I’m a preschool special education teacher. I teach an integrated class (meaning students with and without special needs) in a public school. This is the public school system of a wealthy town. The community has a large role in shaping education, so what many see as a climate lacking in collaboration and emphasizing competition is just a reflection of society.

I love my job immensely and work and learn along with the preschoolers in my class.
